VB 05: How do you access the value of a variable from within one event, which was changed in another event?

I know it's not considered proper but sometimes you just gotta do it. Make the variable global.

Make it accessible from that module/form:

Dim myvar As

Private Sub () Handles
myvar=
End Sub

Private Sub <2ndeventsubname>() Handles _
<2ndevent>
MsgBox(myvar)
End Sub
