No. Not unless they can learn to play defense. Their all offense style might work in the regular season but when you get to the playoffs it's defense that wins championships. Plus they might not do as well next year with the return of Amare because they're going to have to stop playing small. They're going to have to play more of a slowed down half court offense because of Amare. They won't have as many fast breaks when they play big.

Not many Phoenix fans know this yet- but some of the big faces of phoenix might not be there next year...

There are talks ongoing right now that a deal is very close involving the suns sending Shawn Marion, Leo Barbosa and the 27th pick to Seattle for Rashard Lewis, Danny Fortson and the #10 pick.

Seattle wants to attain Marion and rid Lewis because it is believed Lewis would opt out of his contract next year and become a free agent- while the suns are trying to free up some salary cap room by taking Lewis in exchange of Marion's large contract so that they will be able to re-sign Boris Diaw- Don't be surprised if this happens early this week or on draft day

Next season...

PG - Steve Nash
SG - Raja Bell
SF - Shawn Marion
PF - Boris Diaw/Tim Thomas
C - Amare Stoudemire

Not a lineup most teams would look forward to facing... but Tim Thomas will not be resigned. Which was the only man stopping the Lakers from claiming their championship!!! Go back to game six of the first round, six seconds left in the fourth quarter, Tim Thomas drains a three over Kwame Brown to tie the game, Suns win in overtime. THE ONLY MAN STOPPING THE LAKERS FROM CLAIMING THEIR CHAMPIONSHIP IS GONE! LAKERS ALL THE WAY NEXT YEAR!

I think they have a really good chance to be champions if Amare Stoudemire comes back healthy. They overcame some serious obstacles being down to the Lakers and overcome the inside dominance of Brand. I think Amare could have been the difference in the Dallas series b/c they have no one quick enough to stop him. Next season, their big problem may be the Spurs.

Once Amare is up and running they can possibly make it deep into the playoffs but not win it all.. They need one more big man so that the lineup would be:

PG - Steve Nash
SG - Raja Bell
SF - Shawn Marion
PF - *the other big man
C - Amare Stoudemire

Key Bench players:
- Tim Thomas
- Boris Diaw
- Leandro Barbosa

They need another big man who can run the floor like Dirk Nowitzki...=) And that is very hard to find nowadays...

I was upset that Dallas won also! I think Phoenix will have a great chance to win next year if Stoudemire comes back healthy.

No, because they run too much. They need a big man in the middle. Then they will win a championship. One of these days.

No, they would get crushed in the finals. they could make it there though. but the Finals are a diffrent story. The heat wont let them run like that.

They need another shooter, I think they could win it without another big man!
