Source: I put on >28 lb in less than 2 months. I took steroids for 6 weeks. Regardless of what you eat, you gain weight like crazy. Oh, you will eat. Stuff makes you eat like a wolf.

Actually, that depends on your metabolism. A good place to start is by looking at your own family's physical soma types (body type). Are they (and you) naturally lean, or heavy. Do they (and you) eat lots, and gain little, or does just walking past food put weight on you. I would gather from your question, that you don't fall into that last category. It could be that you have a fast metabolism, and (maybe) are comparatively young. Often times, younger people have trouble gaining weight up until a certain age, then it all comes rushing it. They also tend to be much more active, and also, have faster metabolism. Figure out what type you are, and do some research. Then, if you are of a fast metabolism, you can start with a high calorie diet, supplemental protein shakes, and, yes, maybe even working out. Try to avoid food that's just fatty junk, you'll regret it in the long run, since it'll make you flabby and sluggish. Also, avoid bad cholesterol.

I searched for years for ways to gain weight and it seemed like nothing worked. No matter what I did, I just couldn't gain weight, let alone gain weight fast. But I persevered and finally figured out the correct ways to gain weight fast.
I finally figured out that the routines in the muscle magazines, mostly touted by professional bodybuilders, just weren't going to work for me. These were not the correct ways to gain weight fast. At least not for me, or for all the other "normal" people out there.
They were for genetically gifted, drug using bodybuilders. There was no way I was going to gain any weight fast on these programs.
Take heart. It can be done. Even if you've been skinny your whole life you can gain weight fast, add pounds of muscle and completely change your body. I've managed to pack on over 40 pounds of muscle. My bench press has shot from a measly 45 pounds to 275 for reps.

I could advise you yo follow the "super size me"plan but then you would be obese so.................if you want to gain weight and look well I would advise you to try and gain muscle(muscle weighs twice as more than fat)the best weigh to do this is to eat a lot of food from the protein food group such as nuts,seeds,fish,lean chicken......there's lots,lift dumbells start at the lightest and work your way up,to get best results you should eat at regular intervals four or five times a day for more advice on gaining muscle checkout the www.discussbodybuilding.com forum their is a search tool on this site so you can search for tips on particular goals for free and you can read posted advice on this topic.good luck!

Strength training will help build muscle mass. GNC can help with some nutritional supplements- be safe for heavens sake and consult a doctor for safe weight gain.
