I just need a graphics card with 3-D capabilities, and preferably 1 gig of memory... I'm not an expert but I know enough to know that'd be a good amount of ram to run stuff like photoshop, a graphics tablet, and media player... (at the same time) I'm also willing to understand if I really don't need that much ram.

In other words, a nice desktop replacement... for around $1000? give or take a few hundred.

Thanks!

all the Acer fashions are superb values. you need to be able to discover an Acer duo center AMD x2 with 2GB RAM, Vista and one hundred sixty GB HD at a community Fry's, perfect purchase or Circuit city for type of $seven-hundred. maximum different similar machines will run you that cost, yet you'll in uncomplicated phrases get 120GB HD and a million GB RAM for the money. The Acer runs quietly and would not generate assorted warmth. Battery existence on maximum laptops is regularly between 2 and a pair of.5 hours reckoning on utilization. The case is nicely built, and really person-friendly. the in uncomplicated phrases disadvantage is the video card for that cost is on the weaker section. nevertheless lots, besides the undeniable fact that... do only not plan on playing international of Warcraft, besides the undeniable fact that. Works tremendous for MS workplace and internet, besides the undeniable fact that, and it has equipped-in wireless (802.11g/n). Acer only offered Gateway, so as that they market less than both names. I had an HP and an IBM ThinkPad previously. The HP become ok, yet heavy. The ThinkPad become tremendous, yet ran somewhat slow and they have a very small reveal length. No higher innovations are available for the ThinkPad line. i have had some Dells, and apart from being extremely noisy, they have been less than sufficient machines. for his or her specs, they were slow and the machines were heavy. adverse structure and air flow made them run warm. If money is not any difficulty, Toshiba and Sony make some astounding laptops... yet you'll absolutely spend upwards of $1500.

I'd say to get a dell, there very CHEAP and you get a lot out the computer and not out of your pocket. you also get a lot of memory to use, I'll say about 128MB as your scram and about 20G of of your hard drive. You store most of your music, pictures and all of that type of stuff on your hard drive.I'll say you could buy one for a little over 400 and SAVE a little over 400.

Hi,
When I find myself needing information like this I go to cheapest prices search engine for two reasons. I can compare prices from almost every merchant and I can read consumer written reviews. Both save me money.
I hope this helps you.
