IMO, drinking AND driving should be set at 18. If we can get drafted to die for our country at 18, then we should be given the rights and privaleges to get our licenses and drink as well. Thats how the age to get the license was lowered nationwide - due to the draft. However if we taught the children to moderate and not be stupid, then drinking would be less of a problem.

No, i think that we need a more difficult test, The test was too easy for me, i was like, whoa, it's over? and everyone was saying don't worry if you fail the first time, i was thinking how the hell do you fail that? But the bad drivers fail. So we need a more difficult exam, but to raise the age, why? some people are smarter than others and some are better at other things than others. Does waiting an extra two years make you a better driver? Experience and a lot of practice does. The problem is that when kids at 16 get their permit, they don't drive the minimum 60 hours, is it? with their parents. their parents just say, oh, whatever and let them drive. That's the problem.

The national driving age should be 18-21, and the drinking age should be lowered. It worked in Korea and Europe (and there, it costs 5-10k to get your license). As a 17 year old, I know first hand that, no offense to my demographic, we SUCK at driving. We're generally too immature to operate motor vehicles effectively. Especially at night, with friends in the car, etc.
