After having an STD test. How long does it take to get the results back?

Also will they tell you the results over the phone or in person? And if they ask you to come in does that mean that you have something?

About two weeks , they tell everything but HIV on the phone and sometimes when they call you in it is for a retest.

It takes about 2 days, and your doctor will call you and tell you over the phone unless you have HIV, but they will call you as soon as possible they will not wait a couple weeks to tell you.
