This, onelightsleeper, is why you're a light sleeper, because you worry about these things. In any relationship, one person is more dominant and the other is more passive, At times the roles change but, until a blance is reached, they will butt heads.

I don't because I know that the man is the king of the castle, and that I should obey his every command. I am not married to him, but we have been going out for a while now. I would never power play against him.

I can't give you a definitive anwer, because I don't have that problem in my marriage. My husband and I discuss our problems, and come to a mutual agreement. Communication is the key.

It's 2006. there aren't defined roles for men and women anymore so both sides end up fighting over EVERYTHING.
It's something we all have to deal with.
