It was a shock to me when he died. I just wanted to say I miss him very much in wrestling. I missed the way he moved and many of the other things that left you waiting for more. I remember watching him in the WCW several years ago and when he died I just heard a few things. I honestly believe he was a good man at heart. Although I never knew him I will definately miss him in the ring. He will never be replaced!!!

He died because of his past drug abuse. He quit his habits and became a born again christian. After four years of being sober of drugs he died of heart failure. An autopsy showed that the arteries in his heart were shriveled and carried less blood to his heart. So also say it was his aggressive work out programs and road travel that played a part in his untimely death. R.I.P. Eddie!!

The official cause of Eddie Guerrero’s death on November 13 was due to natural causes “related to arteriosclerotic heart disease, which is another term for coronary heart disease, or a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart" according to the an article by the Associated Press News Agency.

Eddie had an enlarged heart and other organs most likely due to steroid use. Steroids are very prevalent in sports because they enhance muscle growth and performance as well as aide in healing in many cases. Many wrestlers who are on the road full time can’t work out the amount of time needed to stay in top physical looking shape and turn to steroids and growth hormones to help them to keep and add to their muscle mass.

I remember him vaguely and think he died or overdose or heart attack. Don't know which, but it was on the news some time last year or a couple of years ago.

To the best of my knowledge, Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure. They found him in his hotel room with his toothbrush in is hand as if he had just dropped dead. His years of drug abuse and alcoholism was most likely a factor.
R.I.P Eddie.

He didn't take steroids but he took drugs, and alcohol. I also knew that he was a proud wrestler, dad, and a very nice friend.
