I agree that the KKK are terrorists. They are also lame cowards.
I disagree that the men arrested in Florida were innocent. If you read the facts of the case and the evidence found against them you would see they are not just poor, shoeless innocents. I don't think the Florida thing had anything to do with race --just the things members of a certain race happened to be planning. The rreal threat is that they were targetting not just people, but buildings and the economy of the US.

When is the last time you heard of the KKK plotting to blow up the Sears Tower?
Im not saying the KKK are a bunch of choir boys, but those florida dudes were stupid. Calling white people devils and pledging allegience to Al Queda is at least just as demonic as the Klan. Actively seeking to blow up America makes them worse than the Klan. White supremists really havent done much lately, except burn a few crosses and march around like fools.
When Timothy McVie blew up the building in Oklahoma City, that opened a lot of eyes here in the U.S. 9/11 changed a lot too. The U.S. said no more of this schitt, and now people are watching for those that would try it. I am happy as hell those guys were caught. No I am not happy they are black, but too me race doesnt matter. I would be just as happy if they were white, yellow, red, or mexican jumping beans. Doesnt matter, they were planning evil, and they got caught. Praise the Lord.

Well, maybe because the KKK isn't going against the state, as it were. US intelligence is desperate enough these days to hold groups accountable for mere verbal actions, which is how that group in Florida was arrested. They aren't confident enough to allow a plot to get to its final stages, before making arrests. That would actually mean more evidence and a better chance of conviction, but they are playing it safe right now.

You make a good point.
I guess one could say that the KKK is "Pro American". I've never heard them say they want to wage war on America. They may say they want to push certain races out of America.... but it's somewhat different. They have unrealistic goals and most of them do little more than complain.
I agree with you about the black men in Florida. Having the desire to blow up a building is quite a bit different from having the ability to blow it up. They were stupid and expressed their intentions to an undercover FBI agent. Anybody who did such a thing would be arrested.
The only other black people I've seen accused of terrorism were driving around shooting people. So.... I don't think this is really a white / black issue.

Blackpride get the chip off your shoulder and face reality. the people they are arresting are of middle eastern decent for the most part-and they did arrest the white dude who read malcom x book and joined the Taliban and was sent to prison. If you are a terrorist you will get nailed regardless of race. you would make a great argument if it was 1865. The klan is a joke and has hardly any members left.

A few years ago, black agents caught white agents at their own white supremest retreat. Also white police officers are probably racist where the KKK hang out. The FBI is generally corrupt (filled with foriegn spies for example) and generally in charge of catching the terrorists.

It's just another excuse to justify wire taps and other infringements on the civil liberties of the American people. Do you think it's a coincidence that this occurred just when the administration comes under fire for illegal tapping of phone lines and other violations of the privacy of ordinary law abiding citizens. Please lets be more objective about these things. Some of those people couldn't even hold a job at Walmart let alone draw up plans to bomb a landmark and see it through. Besides they lived in Florida, what makes us think they even knew of the existence of the Sears tour?

One of the reason's why no one goes after the Klan anymore is because they'e become a non-entity. They are defacto-terrorists and fail to rise to the level of what we now see as a real threat to society.

Bush just needed a headline. You are right, the KKK is a terrorist organization. It's not fair, but I think it is a case of "better the devil you know than the devil you don't know".
