I work at a charter school and it is really hard to answer this question. It all depends on which charter school and where it is at. Just like regular schools. You are going to have the really good ones who are in yupee neighborhoods and the really scary ones that are in ghetto areas. At the charter I work at, it focuses for so on what each individual needs. more of a college based program than a high school general education. There is more one-on-one contact and each child gets a little more attention. A lot of troubled kids go there, so they are treated more like adults. I personally would rather my kids go to a public school...

charter schools get to use their money freely, where as public schools only get to use the money given to them by the government. both are good, but i went to a charter school. the only thing is that some charter schools you go to, the school abuses how they use their money. sometimes they can be too cheap.
