You get up again, dust yourself off and change what isn't working in your life - this is usually something that needs to change from within - often just an attitude......but life isn't always easy
There is no such thing as no chance of happiness in life
By the way - I think your five year old son is something left to live for, don't you?

I would stop feeling sorry for myself and know that whatever I'm going through in time it will pass. I would think about all the people that are dying against their own well in Iraq, car accident, or some other type of senseless death and realize how lucky I am to have my life.
Everyone has to hit rock bottom at some point in there life. You learn from you mistakes and come back greater the second time around. There is a fix for EVERYTHING no matter what it is.
Don't give it... Things will always get better before they get worst. Human nature allows us to be able adapt to any and every situation, you just end up making the best out of a bad situation.
Good Luck and I hope you don't do anything silly. That will end up hurting the very people that you think don't care.

You pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.
Instead of concentrating on what you lost, count your blessings. Don't know what to count? Start with being thankful for being alive, be thankful that you have all the necessities of life and I'm assuming that if you have a computer and the internet, you're not suffering for food or living accomodations.
As long as you are alive, you have a chance at happiness, you never no what tomorrow brings. I can't tell you how to get anyplace but if all else fails, you can always walk.
As for having no one to care about you, get out and meet new people, be as nice to them and you can be, give them respect and you will have people who care about you.
Stop crying about what you've lost and go out and find new things.
Only you can make you happy.
Good luck

Just remember, there is always someone who has it worse than you, and although your situation may be terrible and seem hopeless, there is always hope. I recommend praying and getting in to a church, sharing how you feel with someone there. There are people there who care...don't get me wrong, not all of them are wonderful people, but you'll most likely be able to tell. If you can get a relationship going with God, you can make the most out of this life before entering the next life. We're going to be here anyway, huh? Might as well enjoy it.

Hope, keep trying not in the same place, somewhere else where there is future.
For every problem you find several solutions, approach right person at the right place at the right time.
Learn new things, use this Internet as a tool to explore.
In the modern world one can find plethora of opportunities.
Lastly what is required is change in ATTITUDE, without that there is no Hope.

YEESH, no pressure there! What, are we all supposed to feel sorry for you in your desparation, tell you cheer up, God will take care of things for you, and everything will work out ok in the end? OF COURSE that's the truth, but it's not what you want to hear is it? You want to wallow in your self-pity until you eventually wake up one day and realize the world is, indeed, going on just fine without you, and whoever broke your heart has moved on or the place that fired you replaced you and once in a while someone says, hey remember that bald guy, what was his name...? or the health problem you have has either been healed or hasn't in which case NONE of it matters any more except are you saved or aren't you because you have to go one place or the other when you die...
I'm sorry to be such a heartless b**** but I have been there, I have felt what you expressed in your question, cried rivers of tears with no one to console me... and I'm here to tell you, I survived, so will you, unless you choose not to. God made you and He loves you and He wants you to turn to Him in your sadness and He wants you to see that there is something about you that needs to change and grow but there is no growth without pain so He has allowed this in your life right now in order to make you stronger.
And none of what I've just said is what you want to hear either, and probably all the atheists are going to send me hate mail but I don't care, one day you'll know that I'm right.

You take a deep breath. And put one foot forward. That is all you can do. When your whole lief falls to pieces before your eyes, and you feel like you can't possibly go on, you just take a deep breath and start over. I am going through the same process right now, and it hurts and I haven't been able to go a day without crying just yet. But just keep going. Things will get better, cause they can't get worse! If you feel like you need someone to talk to, talk to a friend or maybe a therapist. Someone to help you through your situation.

I've been there. I spent my entire childhood with this frame of mind. You just have to stand back up, dust yourself off, and try to pick up the pieces. Whatever you may feel like doing, it's important to try not to make your situation worse. Using substances to help the emotional pain is not the answer and sometimes it can just make your situation worse. If you feel like you can't handle it by yourself, you might want to consider self-help groups so that you can talk with other people who are experiencing the same troubles. It's difficult to do it, believe me, but you have to keep a positive attitude about things.

if your old hopes and dreams will never happen, because of whatever your situation is, find out why, realize it, move on. make new ones. there was a reason that they didn't work out, so find new ones, they maybe better for you in the long run. we all have had things in life that didn't turn out the way we thought or wanted them to, but we all keep on going with new dreams and or goals.

I asked almost the same exact question a couple months ago. I had just had an interview for my dream job and I was sure that I blew it. Turns out, I got the job and will start in Fall. The point is that no matter how bad it looks there is always hope. I was sure that things wouldn't work out for me, but they did and they can work out for you too.
