More people?

I suspect you're talking through your hat here, and haven't done any research into basic demographics and social studies with which to support your supposition.

Offhand, I expect the incidence to be about equal when comparing the UK to the US.

Plainly stated -- I don't suppose and that's why I don't.

Got it?

Okay.

There's not much to be racist about when 95% of the population is white and everyone speaks the same language. Racism emerges in any culture when the majority starts to fear that they could someday become the minority and lose their traditional place on top. Because Britian is homogenous for the most part, there is no reason for them to be overly racist.

You will notice, however, that Britain was one of the most racist nations in the world back in the colonial days. Why? Britain was VASTLY outnumbered by the indigenous people living in their colonies back then.

I have not studied the issue, but I believe that the main reason there is less racism in otther countries than America is because there is less cultural diversity. I am Canadian, but I accept that the US is probably the most known, and (wanted to live in), populated country. Because of the diversity, there is more opportunity for racism to occur.
I also think in countries other than the United States, there are stricter laws making sure racism does not occur. Students are taught at a young age about racism, and how to deal with it.

You are kidding, aren't you?

Racism exists because of ignorance and lack of respect for others' cutlure, and for reasons of making oneself feel better because of being able to put another down.

A survey in Britain showed that more than half of Britons believe they live in a racist society, but that things are better than they were a decade ago. Never the less, things like the British National Party still exist, spreading a racist point of view.

Racism is so institutionalized, prevalent, and hazardous in British culture, that the UN commissioned a special study of it.

Because in America one race want to be more superior that the other-some people think they are better than other people-but we all have to go out the same way-there are two things that are certain and that is death and taxes-racism in America is alive with all of these people that smile in your face and cut your throat when your back is turned-and they call that loving their neighbors.

more races, of course. I come from Scotland where we used to pride ourselves on not having racism ( too busy hating catholics/protestants) Truth was, we had nobody from any other races to hate. We were so ignorant about issues like race that the only non white boy in school, who was an Indian, was nicknamed "Chang".
