Not sure, but, they weather was unusually hot this winter in the South Atlantic. So, it could be another bad year for the East Coast. Hope you all be OK, not much we can do though. Just have to be aware and ride it out. I live where we have Tornadoes, the problem with those, we not have much warning they coming.
Just be well prepared for this. Last summer we had a Boat and had to move it in Hurricane Rita. The Gas stations were empty and everyone was heading North. People were running out of gas, it was crazy. I told people it may be a good Idea to keep Gas in some 5 gallon containers way ahead, just put some fuel stabilizer in it. IF, you not need it, then it be good for your car after the Season passes.

All I know is that Hurricanes thrive on warm water. Normally the waters up north are cooler than the ones down south. It is rare that it makes a direct landfall up that way, but it could happen. Most of the land falls occur on the south east atlantic coast (NC and down) or in the golf.
