go to command prompt and type ipconfig /all
and press enter

Right click on the little 2 computers down on your task bar and go to "connection details"...then click on "details" and down about 3rd on the list will be your IP Address.

this is simple!!! my brother has found this neat little application that is actually a game for playing chess with others online. and he uses it just for the purpose of obtaining ip addresses on computers that he works with here is the link for the game alpha chess version 3.1.5 at download.com
