I am going to be teaching preschool and kindergarten in the fall and am looking for games, and learning activities for the kiddos to learn about how to use computers

I just finished my teaching lisense. Originally I was not going to have the kids learn about computers, but parents have requested that thier kids learn about computers, especially the Kindergarteners. (It is a private school)

Here's a site with discounted and free software (you just pay shipping) that I use regularly for my classroom software.

http://www.fcdsoft.com/

You will need CD cases because they ship the software in paper sleeves. They can do this because they get the out-of-date stuff and sell factory surplus.

I have never had a problem with them.

For the person who posted just before me... preschool is indeed about socialization, but MANY kids DON'T have computers at home, even in working middle class families (definitely in most poverty homes). Preschool is about preparing for learning in ALL areas, and a good preschool teaches not only socialization, but classroom rules and routine, school tool use, and computers.

Preschoolers should not be on computers. If you go to school to learn about early childhood education you will learn that most kids this age learn about computers at their homes , they need to learn social skills at school.
