Its better to not to look also. Friendship can only survive if u give the required space to each other. Don't think about the phone. The problem is not in the phone but your mind.

if u mean cell phone, then it is someone's personal possession.. dont think too much about it.. just that may be she is not comfortable doing that.. and even i am not. so yeah..
she is still ur best frnd, just tht she is a lil bit hesitant doent mean she is hiding something from u..
its a common sense tht ppl's cell phone is something that is personal and tht its not a proper etiquette to do tht.. there is nothign wrong about it..

My guess would be that yes, there is something that she doesn't want you to see on her phone. But you already knew that didn't you? Talk to her about it, get it out in the open, or at least try. And it will either bug you more or it will die along the wayside.

Did she ever let you look at her phone in tha past or is this something new? If it is a new behavior then yes she probably hiding something from you...

Why would you want to? Probably nothing to hide...unless your dating.........or then maybe she is hiding something, none the less, that is private to her........Leave it alone, or you may lose the friend over such a silly matter.
