See an OB/GYN but make sure you know your own/family medical history. The pill is often prescribed for 'regulating' periods, but its not always safe - you could be a stroke risk if there is any history of strokes or high blood pressure. I know it is not something you always want to talk to your parents about - they may freak at the words 'birth control' - but they are more likely to know this than you.

Birth control pills have been known to screw up your periods, not regulate them. Also if you do become sexually active and you are on birth control then you become 10 times more likely to get an STD. Im not sure how to regulate them again tho.

Go see an OB/GYN, you're going to have to to get serious birth control anyway. They prescribe birth control specifically for regulating periods all the time and they will know exactly what would work the best for your particular situation.

birth control that i would recommend is. use a condom. when you put all of these chemicals in your body it messes you up.i was on the depo shot i got on it 08/05 and got off 01/06. i didn't get my period until now.which is not good because a female needs to get her period. when a female gets her period it is helping to clean out her vagina for example bacteria.it's your part to keep it clean and to douche. so my advice is to not use any chemicals and also the pill and shot have side affects.

OK, OK, OK, OK please listen to this one, sweetie. Please, please, please don't go on any type of "period regulator". It will only screw ur body up. Just keep a couple of tampons and pads in ur purse/backpack/gymbag and make sure to start using a lightdays pad or pantyliner a day or so before your period starts (it will probably regulate itself within the first year). And, you should really start seeing a gynocologist now, because he/she can help you figure out what is best for you when it comes to these things. And, just for future reference, please wait until you're married to have sex. It will be difficult to stand up to the peer pressure of it, but you will be sooooo happy you did. And you will most likely regret it if you give in and have sex before you are married. Hope this gives you some insight into your situation!

Go see a doctor, to planned parenthood, wherever and get advice. They'll be able to help you with this. Every case is different and what's right for you may not be right for anybody else.
