Ask your doctor, or go on Google and search for "BMI Calculator." Use the "child" one, it's for anyone under 19. That will give you some idea. It's never bad for you to exercise!

it's always a good idea to excercise...find something you enjoy doing and participate! it's so easy to stay active in high school and it's a great time to get into a healthy habit! going to college is an uphill battle and you don't have the option of participating in a sport, or the time to! join a team, you'll make friends with a whole different crowd and it gives you something productive to do! at the end of the day you'll feel fantastic about yourself! i don't think you need to lose weight but i can tell you doubt yourself....and you shouldn't! being active makes you feel so great about yourself, even if you don't lose weight you know that your heart and lungs will be in better shape and it sets you up for a long and healthy life...good luck! hope this helps!

Right now dont worry so much about the numbers just worry about staying active and trying to exercise at least 3-5 times a week.

well really it depends on how u look because for some reason when i look at a person that is obviously heavy i always think they weigh a lot less than they really are. Like I'm off by 100 lbs. But I'm like 2 inches taller than you and two years older and i weigh 120 lbs. According to my BMI im normal and im pretty sure u are too, but for your age and height idk.

According to the charts at the doctor's office, you should loose a little weight.

I personally don't go by the scale. I go by what I see. Judging by your description it sounds like you got back and back is in. You're good, just stay healthy.

i would suggest checking your bmi (body mass index) to see if you're at a good weight or not. if you don't know what it is just search your bmi on yahoo and you'll be able to figure it out.
