There is a Barbie chat forum on the web, all sorts of Barbie collectors. I sold a buch of mine, (I collected them as a kid, and had over 100, even one of the very first, and a bunch of the holiday barbies)
I sold the originals for 50.00, because they were handmedowns and had been played with ALOT
The holiday barbies, sold for 250-300.00 each and one went for 450.00 and this was back in 1997. and the barbies were from 89-95. One guy paid top dollar just because it was the year his little girl was born in! You will be surprised how much they can be worth,
Good luck selling them!!

Go to the book store or on line. There you will find books that tell the value or join a yahoo group and see what they sell their ones for. You can also look at eBay for hints. If the main motivation for collecting is the enjoyment it brings more than the value, then you will always come out ahead.

you might try starting an e-bay account and put one up for action, then pull out like alot of other people do. This will tell you what normal computer using people would pay. You could also reaserch doll expose on line and go from there. good luck
