I was trying to figure out what could possibly be urgent about a fashion question, especially since it is midnight on a Saturday and all of the stores are closed.
Now that I've read your question, I still don't get it,
I guess you have a different definition of "urgent" than I do....

If you are only getting one pair I think you should go with a dark color so you wont get the toe prints in them. Go with 2 pairs and change it up.

It depends what color your skin is. If you're African American, go for pinks, purples or any bright colors, but no white. If you're white then pinks, go for lighter ones. Brown and green are great colors for you're body.

if you're going to buy just one pair and wanting it to fit most of your summer outfits, try grey. it's a neutral color that goes with everything, white, black, pink, blue, green, orange, you name it. and it also go with light or dark jeans. so i say grey. :)
