Does success = happiness? What would have to change in your life in order for you to be successful? Are you successful? How do you measure your success?

Success does not equal happiness. If it did then all those highly successful businessmen would be the happiest people on earth and never commit suicide. But often, the pursuit of success doesn't allow for the pursuit of a healthy personal life. So in fact, many "successful" people are the most unhappy.
I myself am often happy, but not always. However, I am content. I have a good job, a fine wife, healthy kids, and a roof over my head, so that's success enough for me.

Hmmmm..tricky one! I think different people have different ways of measuring up whether they are succesful or not. In the end I think its up to the individual!Life is so full of surprises that the moment you feel succesful and satisfied some new challenge is sure to come your way to make you feel not so! As for me I have been working my heart out like everyone else for the past 14 years or so and I feel that I have achieved quite a success but somehow will not get the full satisfaction until I hear it from my Dad! So that 100% happiness that comes out of being succesful still eludes me! So as I said earlier, in the end, I think it is upto the individual how we measure up!

Success to me means, living my life without people being able to say bad things about me.Right now if i could learn to tolerate my mother repeating her self,that would be success.

for me success is when your have accomplish something that you were dreaming for or that you are happy with succeed is to be able to have a better life to be what you wanted to be
