Yes, it's normal. They're usually refered to as "clots", but it's just pieces of the lining of the uterus shedding in chunks. The bigger ones can cause cramping. If you have any trouble, talk to your doctor about going on birth control. It can make your periods a lot easier.

During a normal phase of ovulation and menstration that women endure, the lining of the endometrium is "built up" with highly vacular tissue in preparation for a possilbe fertilized egg. If this doesn't happen, the lining is sloughed off released during menstration. Since it is also tissue being removed, the consistency of the menses can be larger and thicker and contain blobs.

Yes, it's perfectly normal. Period blood isn't the same consistency as the blood that comes out of a cut.

Yes this is normal-unless, you have been excessively bleeding saturating too many pads/tampons or any abnormal cramping, otherwise these blobs are normal because blood clots

That happened to me too. It's perfectly normal. I've had my period for about 3 years now, the clots are no big deal, :)

This can be normal but in some situations it could be a sign of endometreosis. If your period is accompanied by severe cramps and abdominal pain you might want to get it checked out by your doctor.
