What's the biggest fish you ever caught?

That is, for those of you who have ever gone fishing! Recently my fiance got my hooked (ha ha, no pun intended) on fishing and now I love it!

A 75 lb tuna deep sea trolling, and I did hook a 9 ft sand tiger shark on a bottom rig, but it got away. BUt the dolphin (dorado or maui maui) was about 3 ft long and sure was the purtiest!

I caught a 5lb catfish back last November and then caught a 6lb'er about a week ago. I've caught fish at sea that were bigger and perhaps more of a challenge, but I absolutely loved bringing in that 5 and 6 lb catfish. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

I'm happy that you two have something you can share together. I've been trying to teach my 3 year old daughter to fish and thought it's been a challenge, she's brought in some small yet fiesty crappie and brim. So we're having a great time together. That's important!

I use to love fishing when I was little, and I recently got my fishing license and have been bass fishing. The biggest fish I ever caught was when I was like 13 years old, I caught an 8 lb catfish, which is HUGE for a kid that is 13 years old. My dad has caught catfish as long and bigger than his leg! Fishing is good therapy, never stop.

25 lb. California Halibut. Caught it when I was 12 years old off a little ocean skiff on a trip with my dad. Good times.

I went smelt-dipping once. The biggest was about 4 inches long. LOL, not much to brag about.

I caught a 7 lb. catfish when I was a kid. Since then, my luck has no been so great- I mostly catch little bluegills.
