As far as the talent and the moral stability is concerned, I think Sri Lanka is the best cricket team in Asia. Indian team is also strong but they are not consistent.. Sri Lanka too is inconsistent but they are more stable than India and Pakistan.. Pakistan is aggressive and when things go right in their way, they play really well... Sri Lanka was trashed by India and New Zealand a few months back and now they're trashing England.. That again in a very strong way.. Indians tend to play well in India but they suck outside their home soil or the sub-continent.. Pakistanis are strong but they are easily tensed up by the strengths of the opposition if the opposition is currently stronger than them. Sri Lankans are unpredictable and when they are on fire, even beating the Aussies is a child's play for them but when the going gets tough, they find it difficult to beat even Bangladesh. All the top three asian cricket teams have their own strenghts and weaknesses and if they get over those weaknesses, they sure will dominate the cricketing world.. To sum it all up, I think Sri Lanka is a few steps ahead of the other two top teams in Asia.

well even though th ICC rankings states something it doesn't do any justice to the current context in the cricketing world, for an instance even though India is a good team, it raises a question what they can do without tendulkar, look at the battering they are getting from the west indies, out of the rest, Pakistan and SriLanka are very strong at the moment, even tough Sri Lanka lost the series against Pakistan, they have come back with a young side and proven that they are a very strong and a determined side, the next world cup would be interesting.

India are the best. According to the ICC rankings, in test cricket, India are 3rd in the world, while in ODIs they are 5th - behind Pakistan. So in test cricket India is first in Asia and in ODIs pakistan is the best.
