I stopped drinking water from the bathroom. I got tired of the toilet lid hitting me in the back of the head.

I filter my water, so i don't drink it right out of the faucet, whether it be in the kitchen or the bathroom. But back in the days before Brita, i can't say i noticed any difference. Slightly nicer surroundings in the kitchen, and the glass was bound to be cleaner.....but the water tasted the same.

I've always liked the water from the bathroom better. But to answer your question, I think it has something to do with the pipes or the insides of the faucet itself.

I've never heard of such a thing - so it must be in your head! ...or maybe there is something wrong with your bathroom faucet...there could be a deadly mold growing in the pipes that lead carry water in the bathroom and the water's taste is being tainted by the lethal spores.

Not.

Maybe your faucet in the bathroom(or kitchen) has rust in it. It may make it taste bad(or better). It might be the mind also. I mean...I'd probably rather drink from the kitchen. Lol!!

I think the poopy and peey fumes infiltrate the faucet and taint the water before it comes out...

Just a guess, but I'm with you. I don't drink water out of the bathroom. That's just nasty.

Yes, I totally agree. I can NOT make myself drink out of the bathroom no matter how thirsty I am. I have to always go to the kitchen sink.

Cool Q.
