Hmm, what do I think about them? Well..considering I used to BE one..I guess I think about them a LOT..lol. No, seriously, I was a former butch lesbian turned female to male transsexual. I think lesbians are fine, BUT..being exposed to the culture, I think MANY lesbian relationships are too full of drama, violence, vindictiveness, and the butch lesbians try to OVEREXAGGERATE masculinity. I know you're probably thinking "like this person has room to talk, she BECAME a guy" but..it's different. The butch lesbians seem to want to portray the most stereotypical aspects of male behavior rather than just be normal and masculine. Also there seems to be a lot of double standards. Lesbians seem to think a butch and femme is fine, and two femmes are ok (especially in the eyes of straight men) but two butches is like some kind of sin against nature. Also, I've gotten a lot of harassment from the lesbian community in regards to my choice to transition into male. It's like I've somehow betrayed the "secret circle" of lesbians or something. The same chicks who used to hit on me , now want nothing to do with me, just because of the way I now look, like it's somehow going to take something away from their lesbian identity and affiliation to be seen with someone like myself, but a butch lesbian is ok? (I'm still trying to figure THAT one out) So yeah, that's what I think about lesbians.

As for being one, yes I consider myself a normal person, I work , sleep, eat, pay taxes and bills like any other person, I try to help others whenever I can. I love another, and have loved this person for 25 years. Most heterosexuals in our generation can't stay with their partners--divorce and cheating are on the rise! I don't care what other people think--outside of my immediate family, friends and my partner. And the bible thumpers can all go away, I am sick of their rhetoric and don't need their efforts to change me, I am not a tire and don't need rotation. They're human just like anybody else. They're brave enough to live free on their own, even when such huge discrimination still exists, they live according to their feelings, and they don't sensor who they should love. It's so brave! And if a straight perosn had to do as much sacrifice and go through as much hate, discrimination, rejection and all that comes with it, i don't think anybody would love.... so for me is just the bravest thing to do, be yourself and thats why We are all so happy, cause we are WE, we don't care how much other critize or judge us, it's our right TO LOVE! and it feels great to love who you really wanna love! :)
