Well, it depends on how you use it. I've always had the natural knack for doing my makeup, so I started at eleven. But I only applied a light shade of red just to cover my white lips, which really annoyed me... I truly started now, at thirteen/nearly fourteen. I know how to do my makeup look natural, but noticeable, which is the best you can do. That way, you're not totally creating a fake image of yourself with the makeup you're wearing. I just emphasize my best features... and last, just start when you feel like it. I wouldn't say starting latest is best because like I said before, it depends how you use it, but if you wait a while, why not? Maybe it'll preserve your skin better! Anyway, hope this helps! ;)

Varies. I do believe a girl should start out simple, maybe lip gloss. If a girl really needs the help of make-up I would say let her wear it in Jr. High if it would make her feel better about herself and if her friends are wearing it.
I wouldn't encourage it, but I wouldn't forbid it either. Just as long as it doesn't look trashy...keep it natural.

I think a young girl of 13 could get away with lip gloss, but should not wear more than that. Too much make-up makes a woman look cheap.

Gr 8/ Gr 9. Usually 14 is good. Any earlier and thats just trashy.
I started the end of grade 8.
But the younger you are, the less you should wear. Less is always more!

I started wearing make up at 11 yrs old. Thats because my mom was working some much she never noticed...but if she did it would have been more like 17!
