A fun thing to do is join an online RPG. They pass a lot of time and allow you to be creative. They have so many catered to personal interest that I would suggest you searching them through Google rather than have me list them here. They have everything from midieval times to vampires to outer space. Whatever floats your boat.
Another thing you could do is paint a picture. Not just draw something on paper, but actually purchase a large piece of canvas and decide somethng great to put on it. It may take a while, but you won't be bored either.
You could also learn to knit or crochet and make something nice for your mom. Or you could impress her and learn a foriegn language they don't teach at your school.
The options are endless.
