I personally dont hide my roots between coloring because they are very light. I would suggest pulling your hair up at the crown or to an extreme side part with a clip or barette or bobby pin to hide the roots.

I did buy the between coloring box of hair dye, but I must confess that I haven't done it yet. After I color my hair, it tends to lighten up and I'm afraid that if I use the color for the roots, that it will really be noticeable. It's the same color as I but to color my hair. So I must say that no, sadly I walk around with roots until I just can't stand them any longer! :P

I get my roots done every 4 weeks so no need to hide them. And I have short hair with no apparent part.

You know, if I ever get to the point where I need to get a color touch up, I put matching lipstick on my roots to hide my TRUE color. Great idea.

No I don't color so, no need. If you find yourself going grey then just wear a wig, one with really big bufont style. Like a marge simpson only possibly not blue in shade. This hair style is due for a comeback and you will be ahead of the curve. Furthermore it will be no muss fuss or ozone damage or hairspray bills for you. You just velcro it on in the morning and go about your daily grind. The object of all who survey you.

Highlighting helps. If the roots are gray, then the highlights camouflage it a bit until the next coloring.

Nope... if the roots are bad enough to try and hide them... then it's time to get the color done!

I don't think anybody should be embarrassed of their roots. My family is from Kentucky and Lithuania, and I tell everybody, even between coloring.

No, I dye my hair about the same color it is just to make it pop out so it doesent show for at least two months. Then I just re-do my roots ! (at home or at the salon, depeding on my budget)
