A mentor of mine told me once that you should never move to be close to a job (if you mean moving within the same city) because your job can change, but changing where you live is harder. Find a place that you love living, because the life you have outside of work is what is more important, and you need to be able to separate between work and home. If you move close to work, and something happens, you might regret the move.

Why would you do that? Do you live in a country where your faith is forbidden? A church is not a special building, it is wherever people worship. The big question is are YOU comfotable enough with your faith that it can survive without other people telling you it's okay to believe?
If you are, then why relocate?
If you are not, then you probably need to focus on what you believe, not where you want to believe it.

I don't know, do you sense that the Lord is leading you to do these things? Do you have to change both areas of your life or only one?
Is there something about the church you attend that doesn't match up with God's word?
Does your place of employment cause you to engage in practices that don't honor the Lord or that promote sin or something like that?
As has already been said, pray about it and also seek counsel from other godly people.

You should relocate closer to where you work. You might have to search around a bit for a church where you feel comfortable, but it will be worth it.

I chose to live where I attend church because I am more likely to back and forth between home and church more often than home and work.
