Well usually it's the ones who AREN'T married that leave, and that's often the case with any ethnicity. Generally, a black man who is actually MARRIED isn't gonna leave his wife just cause she's pregnant....

Because they aren't happy with them, I imagine. Same reason white, red, brown and yellow leave their wives. (which as nothing to do with being a black father) Did you intend to write something about the fathers ? or just the husbands?

Men leave women all the time. The main reason is, after the woman says I do, they don't no more. Women need to do the same things to and for their man after they get married as they did to make the man want to marry them in the 1st place. After they get married, no need to do their hair, put on a few pounds, sex slows down or is not as good as it was before you get married, you let kids get in the way of sex life, dirty house, no dinner, do not dress up just for your man, (did most or all this before you got married) Now, I am not saying guys are perfect either, But I am just answering you from a guys point of view. You want to keep your man, do what you did to make him your man. and my biggest thing was, I worked all day, payed all the bills, and come home to a b!tching wife. I just wanted to run away! Hope this helps, Need to look at it from a guys point of view, and think if you were him, Why would you stay? Reasons good enough??

Technically your question might be better put as, Why do black fathers leave their bitches and hos. Since they never mary them in the first place, you cannot call them "wives".
