:) If you're determined to buy an iPod not any other brands, then have a look at here: http://www.ipod.com you can check prices & facilities of each. I think your son wants to have one of those iPod videos with 60GB capacity, but there are cheaper ones & I personally think that it's a waste to carry empty GBs with you! No one can fill up 60 GB with MP3...Anyway...

The newest and best thing are phones that have iPod capability. My husband got me one for our anniversary and it also has internet and camera and it was just about as much money as just one of those things by itself. I'm not even a tech fanatic and it is the best thing I've ever gotten. Very useful and entertaining.

apple store in sacramento/apple.com/wal*mart/targets starting to have them/ or ebay you might want to get a 40gig or 60gig if your son really likes music but if you can find an apple store nearest you then the people there should help you, just tell them what you need and what would be good for your son and they should help!! good luck

Buy him a 4-gig Ipod nano. They store up to approx. 1,000 songs and they also store pics. Or an Ipod video. either one.

CNET.com can provide you with reviews on tech products. You can purchase those things practically anywhere, although you may be able to find a good price on Ebay.
