ask your neighbors if you can mow their lawns or do other odd jobs. You won't be able to go and work at McDonalds or anything like that due to your age, but you can always work for your neighbors. :)

If you are 12 it's illegal to have a job, it's called child labor law, and you don't have to wait 'til 16 you can be 14 and work at a Albertsons bagging bags. Until then, get a job around your neighborhood, volunteer to clean up yards, babysit, or something, I used to babysit $5.50 a hour, *sighs* good days

You are too young to work legally, too young to "need a job"; but what you can do is mow yards, clean houses, clean windows, wash cars, babysit, and any other odd jobs you can find in your neighborhood. Just ask your parents first.

Why not help out your neighbors or mum? Just ask your mum if she needs anything done around the house for extra allowance. For neighbors you can babysit, mow lawns, clean their lawns, shovel snow in the winter etc.. If your really smart, then you might be able to tutor. Who knows? Give it a try and good luck.

Is it legal for you to work so young in your state?
Try the usual jobs around your neighbourhood ie babysit / mow lawns. Otherwise, a regular job might lwave you tired and unable to give 100% in school.

idiots. The person didnt mean a REAL job. i am 10, i need one too, and i just ask for allowance, and go to petco and get cat grass. I then grow the cat grass in plastic cups and sell them.. I also make yarn bracelets and sell them. It works! I aslo collect and hunt for hidden money around the house.
