How about just getting engaged til you're atleast 18. This will give you two years to be sure and to figure out what you really want to do with your life. After all you are still in high school. Good luck hun.

Ahh, young love.
It's really intoxicating your first time around. You meet Billy, he's just soooooooo wonderful and you're just so sure that it's gonna last forever, you're so connected, yada yada.
Thing is, hon -- one of these days you're gonna go off to college -- and you're gonna meet John, who is the best kisser on the planet -- and Dave, who brings a rose for you on every date -- and Jim, who holds your hand at your grandma's funeral and lets you cry on his shoulder -- and Eric, who is convinced that you are *the* most beautiful woman on the planet.
It would be a shame to be stuck married to Billy during a time in your life when you should be single, free and figuring out who YOU are. Who you are at 16 is NOT going to be who you are in 10 years.
There's nothing worse than seeing someone who settled down too young -- meet the love of their life AFTER they've committed to someone else. Best case scenario, there's a lot of regret and heartache, and then a parting of ways to avoid temptation. Worst case, there's an affair and several destroyed lives -- not only with the adults, but with the children as well.
I don't care how great this guy is -- you don't know him, and you don't know yourself. Don't make a lifetime decision on limited information.

Your only 16. Think about the future of head of you. What you will miss. Being married is not a simple thing. You can't date a lot of ppl, you will have someone to answer to cuz you just can't do what u want and not tell him. And 10yrs from now is he still going to be what you want? Are you going to be what he wants 10 yrs from now? Don't think in the now think later, then make your choice.
Good Luck

There are three options: your parents can sign for you to marry at age 16, a judge can sign for you to marry at age 16 only if there is a need for it such as pregnancy, or if he truly loves you enough to get married then he would be willing to wait until you turn 18 and can legally marry. ALSO KEEP IN MIND YOU SHOULDNT MARRY UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU LOVE THE PERSON YOU ARE MARRYING!!!!!!!!

no you dont...you just think you do. ive wanted to marry ten different guys since i was 16, only to realize at 25 i didnt know anything about love or marriage-be patient and work on growing yoursekf to be a powerful young woman before you decide to commit to a partner. love comes with maturity and you have years to go.

At 16? NO.
Trust me, at 16 everyone feels they know what they want, but they are really still well too young to make such serious choices. Listen to your gut feelings that make you question it and are pushing you towards the right answer. Do not do it, not this young. Give yourself until your 20s to make such big decisions.

A guy you "like"? Then I wouldnt get married if thats how you feel about him...if however, you simply didnt elaborate on your feelings, then getting married can wait until you at least finish school and get out to experience more of the world.

You are way 2 young to get married. Take it from somebody who got married at 17. It didn't last. You need to wait, finish school, get a life going for yourself and make sure that he is the right one. Just because you like them doesn't mean you need to marry them.

Well test the waters so to speak, ask about prenuptials and children in the future, if that doesn't scare him off its worth thinking about. but just remember that almost no one meets there true love right of the bat.and if he isn't ready, remember all good things come to those who wait.

i think you have a long life ahead of you so you should think long and hard about it. Cuz its not like one day you can just say that you dont like the guy anymore and just leave. Personally I think that its too young but thats something that you need to decide on your own.
