The ASPCA (for animal rights), the UNHCR (for refugee rights), and the Lambda Legal Defense Fund (but I would have to know more about what cases they take and why chose those over others dealing with GLBTQ issues).

Both the HRC and Lambada Legal are very big advocates to glbtq community. Support both :)

If you can only support one, then you must make the best decision as to the organization that matches your values and ideals best. I'm a member of HRC.
