No. We just don't understand how this one works, so we invent mathematical universes to fill in the time until we figure out this one. It distracts the natives while we steal their oil.

There is no proof as yet of the existence of other "parallel" universes. But there is some evidence pointing in that direction. For example, there is a phenomenon in quantum physics called "tunneling". It involves say, an electron, traveling from point A to point C and the intervening space, let's call it B. Now, it can be proven that it is physically impossible for the electron to ever be in space B (for reasons I do not have enough space to go into, it involves negative kinetic energy, an impossibility in our universe), and yet, the electron emerges on the other side (C)!
A tantalizing explanation is that the electron jumps into this other universe, traverses the required distance and jumps back into our universe at C!

A couple of years ago Scientific American published an article that described several theories as to how parallel universes could exist. The most compelliing one was that if the univerise is truly infinite but contains only a finite number of different fundamental particles, not only do parallel universes exist, but somewhere there is one exactly identical to ours!
I suggest you do some research into back issues of Scientific American and find that article. It's really fascinating (although some of it very difficult to understand).

Does God exist?
Are there parallel universes?
Is there intelligent extra-terrestrial life in the universe?
What do you believe in? - That's as likely a firm answer as you're going to get... that is to say, belief is more important than science in regards to what the answer you're looking for is.

We live in other infinite PROBABILITIES. But that doesnt mean those thing happened. This reality happened. If you could find a way to understand time conceptualy, and be able to control it or warp it in some way, maybe you can travel "interdimensionally" meaning tap in into those other probabilities.

I think it's possible. There is a movie called "What the Bleep Do We Know?" which addresses this very concept. It's quite interesting to think about.
