you go to fallarbor town and go left to the second brown house on the top and walk in and go through the tunnel that the person is standing by then you find ditto in there

Ditto can be found in pokemon emerald after you
defeat the elite four in the fossil maniac's house west of
FallArbor town
In ruby you have to trade with someone who has it

Well, in emerald the pokemon move, but firered and leafgreen have pretty rare pokemon compared to other games. LG and FR also give you a taste of older games. E provides johto starters, which cannot be obtained in any other modern poke game. E has rayquaza (i hate dragons) and FR and LG has Mewtwo (YEAH!) so think carefully
