you dont have too have a best friend--the best friend is yourself--you cant lie too yourself or be dishonest

Personally I have no best friend. I think having a best friend is something that happens naturally based on you're situation. For example, if you have known someone since kindergarten and just happened to stay in school with them through high school, they will naturally be your best friend. However, if you are like me, and you grew up more solitary , you will more likely meet a group of friends who you click with. You can still be just as close to them though. (Doc_is, the question is do you HAVE to have a best friend. READ!!!)

i rather have multiple friends so if one friend doesnt have an answer to a question u/i have u can go to another .... and sure u can have a best friends but i think having multiple friends u can trust and go to anything is better and yes u can be closer to one more then another but that doesnt mean u r going to forget about the other so no u dont really have to have a best friend...

Yes. We have been best friends for 20 years. She is like a sister to me. She is a member of my family. Her son calls my mom and dad Grandma and Grandpa. Without her I would be lost. she is my solid rock. I know I can always count on her in any situation. She knows the same goes for me.

I wouldn't say I have a best friend, but a best group of friends. I wouldn't be able to rate one as being higher than any of the other. but all of us together are very close...

I don't think so. You could just have lots of close friends. A best friend isn't required.

A best friend is a person you are closest to. I don't think you have to have a best friend but it is nice to be able to turn to someone who can relate to your happy and sad times....

Yea i have a best friend. Her name is Alyssa and she is the best thing that ever happened to me. i met her in first grade and we have been friends ever since!!
