im a mother of two. im having the same problem with my babies. they r growing they need to taste something else different than milk ,plus it is too hot these day so thier appitite will get less than before.dont forget they r teething too so try to put some orajel on her gum before she drinks her milk.dont worry if she drank less than 24 oz a day it is ok.if she drinks 16 oz and eats 2 times solid food she should be fine.try to give her more solid food or increase the amount of the food cause they love to have solid food at that age. good luck.
p.s give her macaronie and cheese that will help too.add one drop of tylenol infant on the tip of the nipple she will take her bottle .

Two possibilities:
Maybe she's getting full enough on solids and she doesn't want milk. If you think that's the case, you should continue to offer water and milk at every opportunity, and consult with your doctor on Monday about whether or not he/she wants you to cut back on solids so your daughter will take more milk or to offer a wide range of nutritious meals and snacks every day so that it doesn't really matter about the milk.
A more likely scenario, however, is that she's teething or has an ear infection or a cold coming on or something that makes sucking uncomfortable. (Some kids show no other symptoms for any of these things for a while.) You could try giving her some Motrin or Tylenol, wait a bit, and then offer milk/water again and see if it helps. If she IS teething or something, the Motrin should ease the discomfort and she should take a bottle just like usual.
Some kids, too, just decide they don't want to deal with bottles anymore. Try milk or water in a sippy cup, or even a regular cup. My girls used both since they were six months or so. It's messier, but some babies just like to have more control, you know?

Try more while she is asleep. My daughter went on what the experts call a 'nursing strike' when she was 9 months old. She basically refused the breast, or bit me when it was offered, even though she was really really hungry. Everyone suggested to try and up the night time feedings, be it bottle or breast, if you are concerned with how much she is intaking.
Look into whether or not she has a cold or something too, their appetites always go down when they are sick. And 7 months is a pretty common time for them to slow down in their growth, so she may not be needing as much right now anyway. Just make sure that she's still staying hydrated...if you're anywhere near I am, it's hot out there!!

Sounds like you're doing everything right. People hurry solids much to fast, but it sounds like you're making milk her main food source, so that's good. Maybe she's just going through a less hungry time. My baby did that around 3 months. If you're really concerned, try cutting back even more on the solids until her appetite picks up. The milk is much more important at this age. Here's a good website with some helpful information. Hope it helps.

Try getting her on a better schedule. By 7 months my baby's Dr recommended doing breakfast/lunch/dinner. My baby gets a bottle when she wakes up, 2hrs later breakfast and another bottle. Then she naps, after her nap she gets lunch and another bottle. Early to midafternoon another bottle. After her 2nd nap she gets dinner usually between 5-6 p.m and another bottle. Before bed she gets another bottle. I offer her 32 oz/day some days she'll drink it all and other days she she won't . I also give her a sippy cup a couple of times a day with water or diluted apple juice.

Is she rejecting just the breatmilk or bottles entirely? As long as she is getting enough fluids, you shouldn't stress over it too much. Babies and toddlers go through phases where they don't like to eat or drink certain things too much. If she's rejecting bottles entirely, maybe try getting her a different bottle or just change the nipple. So for example if she's using rubber nipples, you can try silicone (clear) nipples and see if she prefers those. We have a huge family, and I've seen babies do this plenty of times, I've also worked as a preschool teacher and had my own class of 2 yr olds. Good luck.

If she is teething that sometimes causes loss of appetite my daughter just turned 7 months and I feed her a bottle when she first wakes up then mid morning she has cereal and a jar of fruit(baby food) then another bottle and then 2 jars of baby food for lunch and dinner with another bottle in between. That's what my Dr told me to do at her 6mo checkup. And it works for me, sometimes I mix her formula up with water downed fruit juice see if that works.I was worried about giving her too much baby food too soon but I took my Dr. advice and my daughter is thriving.Good luck

At this point you want to make sure she is hydrated. WIll she drink pedia-lite or water? You can talk to the Dr. on Monday morning if she isn't drinking milk. She may have a little flu bug or something like that. If you are worried about her getting enough food in her stomach to sleep give her a little more cereal.

I wouldnt worry because shes finding out what she likes and what she dont like around this time. Or she could be sick or have a minor stomach problem. She should be fine til Monday when you can call the doctors but if you are that worried, the emergency room might help.
