I loved her first two cd's and I wanted to know if anyone knew what she is doing because she has been out of the scene for a long time!

R&B singer Ashanti is being sued by her former manager for breach of contract. The singer was hit with legal papers filed in New York City's Manhattan Federal Court today by Linda Berk, who is seeking an undisclosed sum for allegedly having her contract terminated in 2003. Berk, who first met Ashanti in 1993, claims she transformed her client into a "music and entertainment superstar" after signing a deal in 1999 to co-manage Ashanti with her mother Tina Douglas. A spokesperson for Ashanti says, "The contract naturally expired and we didn't renew it."
Their are rumors going around that Ashanti is pregnant. All I'm going to say is who knows? Congratulations to her if she is.

um, you must not have heard the news-the chick is pregnant by either nelly or irv gotti.. so i guess her mind really isn't on music right now
