What's wrong with the movies made in Hollywood today?

They seem to be short with the imagination for captivating storylines..nothing that seems to make you think or keep you on the edge of your seat and the shame of it is the actors,I mean where are they digging half of these people up from?I just wait till there in dvd form or tv if they`re any good at all I`ll mark the tv guide.

Movies made today are made just for the bottom line. If it happens to be a good movie than it was probably an accident. The writers are bad. Half this stuff written can't they read and go "wow that makes no sense or is not really that funny". I am a lot more picky on what I like today than when I was a kid when I liked everything. There are good stuff out there it's just too bad we got to wade through the 90% of crap to find it. My favs so far this year: V for Vendetta, A History of Violence, Just Like Heaven, and Cars. Really looking forward to Pirates of Caribbean 2 but trying to keep my expectations low.

All TV remakes, and boring stuff.. I suggest watching Asian Movies instead.. Korean movies are really good and unique. The comedy translates well, the Action is awesome, and the Horror is much better than Japanese.. Even Hollywood is starting to move to Korean movies they have bought the rights to many of them for remakes, infact Lake house was remake of a Korean movie

I feel that Hollywood is not making movies that truly reflect
what the public wants. Family movies are big money. Just look
at "The Passion of the Christ", "Narnia" and all of the cute
animated movies, they are always hits. I think that Hollywood
is one sick place and is totally out of touch with the real world.
They do not seem to even care about the money, they are only
interested in pushing their own political and homosexual views.

They just need fresher talent...younger people with fresh ideas of unbelievable sh!t that everyone will pay to see. They just need to go back and take a good hard look at the basics of movies and that means less meaningless action shots, more stories with gripping soul shattering points/lessons. Never fear one day I will be out there filming kick a$$ movies! X○X○
