I'm for anything that gets the creeps off the streets but I am concerned about the "setup" aspect of it. Since I do not know how a normal 13 year old boy/girl would behave when solicited for sex, I'm a little concerned that some of the charges may not stick. Would these people still be perverts if they didn't find someone online to solicit? Probably. However, the fact that NBC uses someone to pretend to be interested in these perversions makes me wonder whether or not they have created a scenario a pervert can fight against and win. The most mind blowing aspect of the whole show for me has been the types of men who are involved in this sick stuff. Preachers, cops, teachers, etc. How screwed up is this world!!!!!!

I live near Sacramento California, home of NAMBLA. There are a lot of sick puppies here. I know there are sick puppies everywhere, but there are tons of them here. Many people just were not aware of who these people are, and how many of them are out there. I think the show shined a light on the subject and made a lot of people more aware of how things are.

I mean, look at the guys they caught. They all looked like normal dudes. Doctors, business men, a rabbi, a teacher, a law enforcement person. Who would suspect people like that of being child predators? Most people wouldn't. Most people suspect the crazy looking guy, the one wearing the trenchcoat. But no, these guys looked perfectly normal.

People dont think about the child predator as being a person that would put him/herself in a position to be around children, like a teacher, a little league coach, a priest, or a pediatrician. But it happens.

Althought the show disgusted me, and I found parts of it uncomfortable to watch, I think it was a good thing. Hopefully it created some awareness out there.

I think it should be a weekly show..Let the people see these sick and twisted predator . They should also have a web site up so everyone can keep an eye out for them if they try to do it again.
which 99% will .. If they get caught doing it again then send them to jail again with all sex predator in one area for the rest of their lives. Along with that, the guards should turn their backs once in a while to let them get raped. As the old saiding is what comes around turns around and hopefully they will get a taste of their own
except a 100 times worst.

If you could possibly blame the children involved, you're a confused soul!! The older adults are the ones who are grown and know better, a lot of kids who fall victim to this are juts seeking validation that they do not get in other areas of their life. I praise To Catch A Predator not only for apprehending the scum that they do, but also for opening the eyes of many parents, possibly saving lives!

I think that show is awesome!! But the problem is most cases don't end where the person gets caught, that's what's sad. It happens everyday to kids, and it's something they will remember forever. Meanwhile, our justice system lets these men(and women) out of jail in like 2- 5 years. And some only get probation.

Awesome, should be a weekly show! if they did this in every city and state across the country perverts will think twice before solociting sex with a minor. I support any method to stop predators from preying on children....including a pine box!!!!

My husband thinks it's pretty funny to watch those idiots squirm. It just really disturbs me. I think, if they are catching all these guys with this sting then how often is this happening in real life (not a sting)??? Frightening.
