I love Jim Norton and David Cross. They're my all time favorites. Too bad about Mitch Hedburg, though. He had the best delivery.

That's a tough one. It will probably reflect a person's own personal timeline.
Many say it was Lenny Bruce. But I haven't heard a lot of his stuff.
Robin Williams is up there, in my book. So is George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Bob Newhart, Jack Benny, Steve Martin .. just too many to pick one.
