No question.. at least she was at one time one of the best. To this day ; during Super Bowl 25 , when she sang "The Star Spangled Banner" is still a classic.

I think she WAS a great singer. Now, I think she's a great poster person for drug awareness / anti - crack public service announcements.
Sorry if you don't like the answer. It's just that I feel she was given a gift and threw it away.
Also, to make matters worse, every time she seems like she's trying, she throws it all away. She comes from a great family, she must be breaking their hearts.

She is a great singer back in the day before she got hooked on drugs and stuff. That took a toll on her voice.

Whitney "use" to be a great singer but now she'll not as good as she use to b/c of the drugs.

Used to be, but now she and hubby are full blown crackheads. Wonder what her gospel singing mamma thinks of her baby girl's downward spiral. Everytime she has a chance to redeem herself, she makes a complete *** of herself. Sad really.

She has a lot of talent... but cocaine and too many blow jobs does alot to the vocal chords. Been awhile since I've heard singing attempts from her.

I used to think she had a lovely voice. Too bad she has thrown her life down the tubes with all the drug and booze.
