I'm non-biased on this subject, because I'm not American, and I have no affiliation with Americans. I admit that I think Bush is war-mongering git, but I don't let that cloud my judgement of innocent Americans!!
: D

From what I can see, the Bush definition of a terrorist (which is NOT exactly the same as your average American citizen's definition!) is
Terrorist =
1. Muslim.
2. Non-Christian.
3. Anyone who disagrees with the (selected by God) President of the good old U.S of A!

(I say that the President of the USA was 'selected by God' because he obviously wasn't elected fairly by the hoodwinked general public of America!!!!)

The average American citizen's definition of a terrorist is more logical, although biased in favour of America ... but that's understandable and forgivable!
To the average American;
Terrorist =
Anyone who even THINKS about hurting Americans, especially if they're on American soil!
(That's why a few Americans still have a soft spot for the IRA ... they didn't bomb America!!)

And by the way, for Katybear's benefit ... I've NEVER heard that any of the women and children blasted to death by the American troops were wearing bombs!! But then, I don't get the American propaganda!!

You do not make a lick of sense. THe women and children could have been terrorist. A Terrorist is a person plotting to do harm against the United States, its citizens.

Timothy MC Veigh, and radical Muslims, when their is war the Innocent always get killed, especially when the terrorists hide among the people. Muslim terrorists have killed more of their own people than anyone else. Saddam hide weapons among his population he didn't care if they got killed. I don't consider the people of Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Afghanistan terrorists, it's just the as*holes radical Muslims that come out of different Nations, I consider terrorists. Plus the one's that are home grown, like the seven jerk off's they just caught.

I am a liberal, and I hate the war, but please dear god don't think for a second that groups like al-quaida and the mouja-hadin should exist. The insurgents in Iraq have killed more Iraqis than the Americans in every single month after the initial invasion was over. THEY REALLY ARE EVIL! We shouldn't be there, but as long as they exist, there will be torturing and raping and killing. The real question is. who gets tortured? who gets killed? if I had to choose between one of those bastards who CHOSE responsible for 9-11, and one of our soldiers sent against his own will that is responsible for the deaths of innocent iraqis, i'd pick the (let's all say it together) TERRORIST!

Terrorism refers to a strategy of using violence, social threats, or coordinated attacks, in order to generate fear, cause disruption, and ultimately, bring about compliance with specified political, religious, or ideological demands. The targets of terrorist attacks typically are not the individuals who are killed, injured, or taken hostage, but rather the societies to which these individuals belong. Terrorism is designed to subvert existing political atmospheres, often with the aid of the mass media's influence.

They 're referred to as 'Collateral Damage', covers a multitude of sins. When you say 'they' you are talking about all Americans. Many of us did not want the war and hate it. More and more are beginning to think the same way.

The Bush Administration orchestrated this whole debacle. But he is not triumphant , because he is wrong! Peace Be With You!

its the intent of it all

The US never intends to kill children and women...such as in Vietnam (you sound like one of the "baby-killer hippies") but when women and children are strapped with bombs then they get killed but thats only in a war. Terrorists to me are people that start wars by intending to kill civilians no matter how old they are or what gender.

to respond to yazora (below)- i was talking about Vietnam in that instance...i havent heard of women and children being strapped w/ bombs in Iraq either...doesnt mean it hasnt happened though

I take it you've not been to Iraq. A 10 year old kid can shoot just like an adult. A terrorist is ANYONE who shows violence to the US or it's citizens.
