Your hips are actually the widest part at your thigh area. So.... maybe there is a point there. They must be big, so wear a belt.
But i agree with the previos answer, not enough hips to fill ip the jeans.

measure the part of ur hips where u want your jeans to snug and buy that size. you can also use a stylish belt to tighten it up.

u shud try a matchin contrast belt to go along with ur hipsters-the belts r in fashion now--and they look quite gud wid hipsters.so try them !!!!
