Yes, I would and I did! But before you quit your present full time job, make sure that you are going back to school for something that you will truly enjoy. Talk to people who are already employed and experienced in the career that would make you happy. Do some research. Is it possible to get a job now in any capacity working in a company that does what you want to do? If so, maybe you could get a job there and learn more about your dream career. As a bonus, some companies have tuition reimbursement.

I did it, and I don't regret it. I left a career in hospitality/restaurant management when I was in my mid-20's, went back to school for IT and haven't looked back. I'm a lot happier in my new career--- better hours, substantially better pay, more challenging--- and I would never dream of going back.

yes. i went back to finish back bachelor degree. i finish in the spring. i was not used to being poor but it has been worth it. there are plenty of programs to make this a reality. i am 44.
