one tablespoon of unripe lemon juice mixed with one tablespoon of evaporated milk.... mix well and use a cotton to apply it.... dry it with a fan and let it stay overnight. Wash it off the next day and apply again in the morning by doing the same procedure...... do this once in the morning and once before retiring. it worked for me... scars lightened in a few days and disappeared within a couple of weeks.

Home remedies are cheap and effective.
When you get apimple, pop it and get the puss out.
Immediately apply lemon juice for 5 minutes on a cotton ball.
Afterwards, let it dry. It should leave no scars.
TO get rid of scars, depends what type of scar it left. If it isn't deep, you can use the lemon juice all over your face like a toner.
Cucumber juice mixed with milk works as well.
Do a steam facial every two weeks and apply your lemon juice or cucumber juice/milk.
Then put avocado/honey on your face, rinse off.
Skin looks amazing afterwards.

there is a scar solution that you can buy without a prescription I saw at a plastic surgeons office. It was about 50 dollars, and claimed to lighten acne scars that were raised and darkened, but not ones that were indented and lighter. I am sorry but I forget the name of it, I am sure if you call a plastic surgeons office they will know what I am talking about. oh wait, i found the pamphlet, it is called Scarguard, the pamphlet says that it is dispensed by dermatologists and plastic surgeons, Here is a rep number. 1-800-777-3434 or 520-573-0857

Acne stinks, and it's little comfort to know that everyone gets it. Scars from acne can seem like double punishment - first you had to suffer through the pimples, now you have marks to remind you. Is there anything you can do?
To understand scars, you need to understand acne. Acne refers to lesions or pimples caused when the hair follicles (or "pores") on the skin become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. A plugged follicle is the perfect place for bacteria to grow and create the red bumps and pus-filled red bumps known as pimples. (The usual bacteria that causes acne is called Propionibacterium acnes.) Hormonal changes during the teen years often cause increased oil production that contributes to the problem.
Acne comes in different forms:
mild acne, which refers to the whiteheads or blackheads that most of us get at various times
moderately severe acne, which includes red inflamed pimples called papules and red pimples with white centers called pustules
severe acne, which causes nodules - painful, pus-filled cysts or lumps - to appear under the skin
Most serious scarring is caused by the more severe forms of acne, with nodules more likely to leave permanent scars than other types of acne. The best way to deal with acne is to get treatment soon after the acne appears to prevent further severe acne and more scarring. If you have nodules, see your doctor or dermatologist for treatment.
If you have serious scarring from previous bouts with acne, there are some things you can do. One form of treatment is laser resurfacing, which can be done in the doctor's or dermatologist's office. The laser removes the damaged top layer of skin and tightens the middle layer, leaving skin smoother. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. The doctor will try to lessen any pain by first numbing the skin with local anesthesia. It usually takes between 3 and 10 days for the skin to heal completely.
Another method for treating acne scarring is dermabrasion, which uses a rotating wire brush or spinning diamond instrument to wear down the surface of the skin. As the skin heals, a new, smoother layer replaces the abraded skin. It may take a bit longer for skin to heal using dermabrasion - usually between 10 days and 3 weeks.
Both of these types of treatments will cause skin to turn red, and this redness may last for several months. You can only have these treatments if you don't have an active case of acne at the time of treatment.
Depending on the severity of your scars, your doctor or dermatologist may also suggest a more mild chemical peel or microdermabrasion, which are also done right in the office, to help improve the appearance of the scarred areas.
In some cases, a doctor may recommend surgery to remove deeply indented scars.
One thing you shouldn't do to deal with acne scars is load up your face with masks or fancy lotions - these won't help and may irritate your skin further, making the scars red and even more noticeable.
If you have a red or brownish mark on your face that you got from a bad zit, have no fear - it will eventually fade, just like the scars you had on your knees after you fell off your bike when you were a kid. However, it may take 12 months or longer - so your best bet is to avoid these kinds of marks by not squeezing or popping your zits, no matter how tempting it may seem.

Take it from someone who knows!!! This works best for me... when a pimple is healing, meaning its not puffed up with white junk it, and the sore is getting kinda flakey and gross, put antibacterial ointment on it at night before you go to be. Wal-Mart brand is what I use. It not only helps the sore heal faster but it makes it less red and noticable. I have also heard that putting a dab of honey on any pimple, new or old, help to get rid of it and heal it quickly. Cover with a band aid after the honey and sleep with it.

Have you ever noticed how clean and blemish free Indian woman's faces are? They use a lot of natural products from their very young ages like green gram, olive oil, tamarind and saffron and whole lot of other stuff on a daily basis; I guess they have a lot of time on their hands, anyway. They also use a product called Fair & Lovely which comes in tube. My wife swears by this stuff; she’s been using it ever since she visited India a few years ago. We used to get it down at first but now it’s freely available internationally. I am sure you should be able to look it up at the following URL http://www.hll.com/brands/fairnlovely.asp Oh, by the way, scrubbing is bad! It makes the skin age...

everything you've been told works pretty good making your scars lighter, but if you have those terrible little holes : microdermabrassion its very good, you need to see an esthetician they will tell you how many treatments you need (you don't need to purchase their product) the treatments are around $80 to $120 depends where you go; will you you have the money see a cosmetic surgeon for laser treatment its around $1000. I really wish you the best.

Its great stuff. My cousin was shot in the arm and she used it for her scars and if it can take them away pimple scars should be no problem. I used it on my legs for my little shaving scars and it took them away, also it took my stretch marks away from when I was pregnant with my son. (who 5th b-day is today)

In Europe they use Vitamin K to reduce red marks on the face or spider veins. I did use some on a broken bleed vessel underneath my eye and it worked. You can get some at Sally's Beauty Supply. You must use it daily though and you can put it on underneath your makeup
