why do ppl's faces get red and splotchy when they cry?

and why do some ppl look cute when they cry, and other's jus look ugly?

when you cry or laugh,blood is rushing to that part of the body & when you stop it will go away,so laugh or cry its actually good for you,especially laughing

Blood is rushing through and when you 'itch' you eye, it makes your eyes red and the skin around their because of the blood rushing through there.
