According to the University of Kentucky Transplant Center:
"You should rest during the first few weeks after leaving the hospital. You may find that you tire easily and that there is sensitivity around the surgical scars. Most patients can resume normal activity one month after surgery and can return to work 4 to 6 weeks after surgery."
I lost a fifteen-year-old son because of lack of available organs. Let me please offer you my most humble and grateful appreciation. You are changing the world, and you deserve every blessing that life has to offer.

Usually series of test will be done prior to donating organs, making sure that you are healthy. It can take up to a month to recover. But just be aware of the potential complications that you might face. Any surgical procedures done it always poses a risk, like bleeding, infections or you kidney might fail. This happens when you develop an infection and needs to be treated with strong antibiotics which is toxic to the kidney since you only have one kidney left it will be tough for the remaining kidney to excrete waste products. But I salute you for being so nice to donate one of your kidney to your cousin. Good luck and God bless you. Praying that both of you will have an uneventful course of surgery and recover fast.

good for you - greatest love you can show
depends on your work - if it is not physical you may be back in 2-3 weeks - if its physical more like 6-8 weeks
you should be up and out of bed the day after the operation but probably in hospital for a week
you can resume light exercise normally within 3-4 weeks

You need to ask your Doctor. I'm sure your employer would like to know this as well.
Good for you! I'm just a bone marrow doner.
